Emanuele Sangalli Photographer – Brand Identity

Emanuele Sangalli is a freelance photographer specialized in photojournalism and wedding photography. He sought a consistent identity for his professional activity that would communicate the elegance and sobriety of his style and the components of which could be printed and self-assembled at his studio.
 
The basic elements of this visual identity were composed of business cards featuring a brand new logo, and corporate paper products including envelopes, letterheads, dedicated packaging and a brand new website.

The logo created is a minimal, black and white custom logotype, available in two versions: a longer one to be used as digital watermark, and a shorter graphic variant using the photographer’s initials.

All of the designs are made to be in black and white, so the photographer can easily print the material at his workshop.

The black and white packaging goes far beyond being merely protection for the products. This is actually one of the most important and distinctive element of the visual identity, being the first thing the consumer sees of what he has purchased. Each part of the packaging is handmade and features Emanuele Sangalli’s colours and basic design aesthetic.
 
In dealing with clients first impressions are critical, so an update of the photographer’s website was also needed to match the new design:
