infood – The good side of food
Taste education is the best defense against poor quality, adulteration and standardization of food, therefore, the main purpose of Infood, a concept for an Italian Restaurants chain committed to the principles of Slow Food, is to show clients the importance and benefits of a good meal and genuine cuisine.
Tasks included: coming up with the creative concept and bringing the idea to life by branding, naming, creating a visual identity and a logo, designing the prototype of the app. The project also features the creation of interior design solutions for the restaurant, the design of all promotional material and packaging.
Infood promotes local cuisines and traditional production of food with its “kilometer zero” menus. All dishes are made with food produced in regional territory. This means that menus vary according to the area in which the restaurant is located.
Infood’s advertising boards:
All menus are consultable through an interactive application that can be visualized on iPads, mobile phones and Microsoft Surface tablets provided by the restaurant. Other than showing the offered dishes, the application entertains the customer and leads him to his choice by providing detailed information and trivia about nutrition.
All Infood restaurants are equipped with Microsoft Surface tablets, a device that entertains customers from the moment they sit at the table until the end of their meal.
