Are you going to spend some time in Murcia this June? Then I suggest you to come to Ginkgo Biloba, a cozy restaurant in the city centre of Murcia, which aims to make eclectic and quality gastronomy accessible to all budgets.
Throughout the whole month, Ginkgo Biloba is going to held the first photographic exhibition of the photojournalist Emanuele Sangalli – www.emanuelesangalli.com. As visual designer and event coordinator of this event, you’ll see me there on the official opening night, tomorrow 08th June 2013, to enjoy good photography and tasty Spanish tapas!
“Escrito en pancartas – Realidad social y poesía urbana” (translated: Written on banners – Social reality and urban poetry) reflects the social discontent and fighting spirit of the population of Murcia, a city in southern Spain. The photojournalist focused on the banners and signs that were paraded in numerous demonstrations in the streets of the city during the year 2012 and 2013.
This photo exhibition will be taking place in June, as part of a series of events to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the restaurant Ginkgo Biloba. Emanuele Sangalli selected 10 photographs to be displayed in the restaurant throughout the month, with a retail price of 15 euros each.
The press release of the event has been published by ElPajarito.es, an online newspaper based in Murcia, Spain. Go to link.
